Welcome to Westlow. Our names are Des, Josephine and our daughter Emma Glynn. We live near the village of Claregalway, Co. Galway in the west of Ireland. We have owned Golden Retrievers for over twelve years. Our first golden was bought in 1991 as a family pet, his name was "Ted" . This is when our love of this lovely breed began. In 1993 we bought our first Show Golden from Kate and Jim Crosbie of the Garbank Lislone Kennel and began our enjoyment with the show scene were we have made many friends at home and abroad through our Goldens. First and foremost our Goldens are much loved family pets from who we receive great pleasure in and out of the show ring. We breed the occasional litter and aim only to breed Goldens that are typical of the Breed and have sound temperament and construction, and that are a pleasure to own whether as Pets or Show Dogs. All our breeding stock have current clear eye certificates and below average hip scores.
